Which hunting optics you need depends on the type of hunt and the observation distance: a riflescope for the shot, binoculars for identifying game, a spotting scope for details at long range and a rangefinder for the exact distance. NOBLEX E-Optics develops these optics in Eisfeld to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and covers every task in the field with a coordinated range. That way you'll find the right tool for every situation, from the high seat to mountain hunting.

Which hunting optics do you need?

For the shot itself you need a riflescope, for identifying and observing game a pair of binoculars, for details at long range a spotting scope and for the exact distance a rangefinder. NOBLEX carries on a heritage of more than 150 years of optics from the world of Zeiss, Docter and Analytik Jena – that expertise goes into every product line.

How do you spot good hunting optics?

Four things show what a pair of binoculars or a riflescope is really worth in the field:

  • Low-light performance: the more light gets through, the longer you can identify game – with NOBLEX thanks to the Multitop coating.
  • Rugged build: waterproof, shockproof housings shrug off recoil, rain and tough use in the field.
  • Reticle and illumination: a 100 Hz illuminated reticle keeps your aiming point visible even in low light.
  • Fit to the type of hunt: from a wide field of view for driven hunts to high magnification for the long-range high seat.

Which optics suit which hunt?

Riflescopes from the NZ6 and NZ8 families place the shot at short and long range, while driven-hunt scopes and red dot sights catch fast, fleeting game. Binoculars belong in your pack for identifying game, spotting scopes bring in details at long range and rangefinders provide the distance for planning your shot. Use the filters to narrow down quickly by device type, magnification and objective diameter.

Which binoculars are right for hunting?

An 8x42 or 10x42 is the proven all-rounder for identifying and scanning – handy, bright and good enough for most areas. For a long-range mountain seat or a lot of dusk you'll reach for a larger objective like 8x56, which gathers more light and boosts low-light performance. Binoculars belong in your pack on every kind of hunt, long before the riflescope comes into play – for scanning, identifying and observing over hours.

Why is lens coating so important?

A good multi-layer coating like the Multitop coating increases light transmission and contrast. The image gets brighter and clearer – the difference shows most at dusk, exactly when game starts moving. Stray light and reflections also drop noticeably, so contrast and fine detail hold up even against backlight. Use the filters to find the right optics for your type of hunt.

FAQ

Which optics do I need for a driven hunt?
For fast-fleeing game, riflescopes with a low base magnification like 1-6x24 and a wide field of view play to their strengths. Red dot sights are even faster to the shoulder, because you take in the game with both eyes open. A flicker-free 100 Hz illuminated reticle helps you find the dot instantly.
What's the difference between binoculars and a spotting scope?
You use binoculars with both eyes for quick identifying and observing – handy and freehand. A spotting scope brings in details at long range with much higher magnification, for example on a mountain hunt or when counting game, but for that it's usually used on a tripod.
Why is lens coating so important?
A good multi-layer coating like the Multitop coating increases light transmission and contrast. The image gets brighter and clearer – the difference shows most at dusk, exactly when game starts moving and you have to identify it reliably. Stray light and distracting reflections also drop noticeably with a good coating.
Is NOBLEX hunting optics waterproof?
Yes. NOBLEX designs its hunting optics to be waterproof and shockproof and develops them to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. That means you can use them in rain, cold and rough terrain. You'll find the exact protection rating for each model on its product page.
What does the 100 Hz illuminated reticle mean?
The 100 Hz technology pulses the dot so fast that it looks flicker-free to your eye – even in a fast swing. The dot stays fine and crisp-edged and adjusts continuously to dusk or daylight without washing out the game. That gives you a steady aiming point at dusk.
What sets the NOBLEX NZ6 and NZ8 families apart?
The NZ6 family offers a 6x zoom and strong value for money, the NZ8 family an 8x zoom for more reserve between close and distant range. Both come with a 100 Hz illuminated reticle and bright objectives up to 56 mm for use from driven hunts to the long-range high seat.
